Glass Fusing Workshop
A great opportunity to spend time in a professional studio and to start to develop your own style with this magical material.
Linda who attended my half day fusing course in November sent me this note, ‘I am absolutely delighted with it. It looks amazing on my wide window sill with the curtains either side. One of the best birthday presents I have ever been given. The whole experience was wonderful. Thank you so much.’
Those who haven’t attended a session before are very welcome, no previous experience is necessary. Expert tuition will be given at all stages. Each class will have a maximum of 6 places, to ensure plenty of space for people to work.
I will teach you glass cutting techniques alongside how glass behaves to help develop your own personal language. You can discover more about fusing and slumping glass to create a range of forms (you can select from a wide range of slumping moulds, dishes, soap dishes etc.) All materials will be provided. Work will need to be fired in a kiln and collected later.
You can buy a workshop session as a gift, you can purchase an e-gift card, which allows the recipient to select their chosen date. Click on the ‘Glass workshop gift voucher ‘ option to find out more information.
I’ve had to increase my workshop fees starting next April, due to the increase in raw materials and overheads. I have held my prices for two years. I hope that people can be understanding of this. I am delaying the increase for six months, to help with this increase. Places are still available before this time at the current rate. For those of you who have received an e-gift voucher for Christmas at the current price and cannot find the date that you need, contact me.
If you’d like to arrange a session with family or friends that doesn’t suit the dates below, contact me and we’ll arrange a date that suits us all.
