COURSES & CLASSES
Glass art workshops
A chance for absolute beginners or the more experienced to learn or develop a skill in a relaxed professional environment.
STUDIO SESSIONS
Aimed at new learners who want an opportunity to work creatively with glass in a professional artist's studio, cutting and playing with glass colours for fusing or creating designs for sandblasting.
Why choose to work with me? This is what Debbie said, who has attended my classes for the past ten years, ‘The great thing about starting a class with Sue is that she doesn’t tell you what you have to make, she asks what you want to make and then works with you to achieve it. ‘
To see what’s going on in my studio on a regular basis, have a look on my Instagram page. The link is at the bottom of the ‘ABOUT’ page.
A PASSION FOR GLASS

“You get access to someone to mentor you with professional equipment. That is the possibility and that there are lots of avenues that people can explore. You can start doing something and it can morph into something else. I don’t know where else you would get that”

‘When I go to Sue's studio I find a space to be creative with glass and direction from a hugely experienced artist. Sue gives freely from her wealth of knowledge yet leaves room for individual creative expression.
This is accompanied by an opportunity to meet and mix with other people who share a passion for working with the beautiful, reflective colours of glass.
I leave the studio with a deep sense of calm and some glass creations I am amazed to have created.’

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the glass fusing workshop. In the relaxed atmosphere of Sue's studio, I learned how glass fuses at different temperatures. I was then encouraged to create my own designs using a wide variety of materials, with Sue on hand to give advice when I needed it. I am thrilled with the pieces I made and my friends said 'wow!”
