Spring Open Studios at 36 Lime Street in the Ouseburn, Newcastle.

This year we decided to move the Open Studiso event to May, a bit warmer, nights lighter and to run it the weekend after The Late Shows, held the night before.

Come along deep into the heart of the Ouseburn Valley for a weekend of creative browsing in our wonderful building filled to the brim with talent over five floors.

See how work is produced and chat with the artists about their processes and materials. This spring there will be a few treasures to buy as usual. I’d really welcome you to come and have a chat with me if you’re thinking about having a go at glass fusing, but you’re not really sure what it involves or how to start. Let’s start a conversation.

Mouse of course will also be there, eager to meet and greet. She is on the mend after a big operation on her leg.
